Chris + Katherine // Elopement in Lafayette Square Park

It was just the five of us; this sweet couple, the officiant, a dear friend, and myself. (I even got to be one of the witnesses on the marriage license!) I feel so honored to have had the privilege to witness and document these two commit their lives to one another in this special, intimate way. Katherine and Chris began planning a wedding when Katherine suddenly presented with some health complications. They decided they wanted to just be married already so they opted to elope on a Tuesday afternoon in Lafayette Square Park. I truly can't think of anything more perfect.

Keith + Erin // Eclectic Rooftop Wedding at Jefferson Underground

Good grief, this wedding was one for the books. The best way I can describe it is freaking FUN! There is just something that excites my heart when a couple plans their wedding without the obligatory traditions and fuss and just goes with what feels like them. Keith and Erin went 100% in their own direction and, dang, did they do it right. They picked one of the coolest St. Louis venues (Jefferson Underground) and tied the knot on a rooftop. They worked with my absolute favorite florist, Jessica Douglas of Flowers and Weeds (sister is a creative genius with botanicals) and instead of a bouquet Erin opted for some gorgeous flowers in her hair. They chose to actually greet their guests and hang out with them prior to the ceremony. Then they stole away with me for a bit right after they said I do for some seriously magical golden hour photos across the street where they're love story actually began believe it or not. Basically it was just perfect and I loved every bit of it... even in the close to 100 degree temperatures.
