Pete + Aly // Adventurous Glacier National Park Elopement

The-Rowlands-170.jpg

I can’t believe it’s taken me over a year to blog this unbelievably beautiful elopement. But, a year later and I’m falling in love with Pete and Aly’s images all over again. We loved every single part of this day. From the moment Aly arrived by canoe to the ceremony we knew it was going to be unforgettable. We so enjoyed celebrating their love with their closest family and friends and especially setting off into the forest to explore and create magic. Is it weird that I kinda want to print and hang one of the photos of them in the canoe in our home? LOL

Kyle + Betsy // Wedding Pioneer Hawaiian Elopement Giveaway

So about a year ago Kyle (my Kyle) had a cool idea that has since turned into a full fledged business and marketing platform for photographers and wedding pros all over the country (and even in Canada). Have you heard of Wedding Pioneer?? If the idea of a non-traditional wedding appeals to you go check it out right now! Anyway, as our following started growing we decide to do a massive giveaway and provide an expenses paid trip to Hawaii for one lucky couple to elope. It felt like absolute fate that these two won, because, ugh... we just fell in love with them and couldn't have imagined a more perfect, special, beautiful, wonderful, adventure-filled day! What made the day even more incredible for us is that our own elopement happened a stone's throw away from this gorgeous sunflower farm on Waimanalo Beach. It was the BEST getting to revisit some of our favorite spots around Oahu with Kyle and Betsy. Oh how I wish they lived closer now that we're friends! The hugest thank you goes out to the other incredible vendors who donated their time and talent to make this day such a success!

Justin + Whitney // Scenic Kauai Elopement on the North Shore

Guys, we did it!!! We finally shot a wedding in Kauai!!!!! Yes, it was 4 months ago but the excitement hasn't worn off. We're still in awe of this day and the beauty and love we were surrounded by. Whitney and Justin chose to do things our absolute favorite way: completely relaxed and casual with almost zero planning or stressing out. We literally met up with them the day before, showed them some of our favorite spots around the North Shore and they picked one. Easy peasy. Having only a few family members by their sides and Justin's dad officiating meant there was even less to coordinate. After their short and simple ceremony we meandered through the jungle, hiked to a secret beach, and stopped at Hanalei Pier for some epic golden hour photos. This elopement was pure Hawaii magic and our love for these two beautiful people knows no bounds since they chose our favorite place on Earth to say "I do"!
