What's better than summertime in the backyard with family snuggles, dipping your toes in the pool, and the most perfectly pudgy baby girl? The Laurinaitis family made my job super easy... they are impossibly good looking plus so laid back and really crazy about each other. I loved spending the afternoon trying to keep up with this little dear and capturing this incredible season for them.
Have you ever laid eyes on a more gorgeous pair?! I had the best time with Blair and her little Bubba. She thought it would be cute to put him in a tux for his "birthday suit" and I think we can all agree she was right. The weather was a little too cold to shoot outside so we did their session at The Missouri Botanical Gardens and it kind of worked out perfectly. Blair even coordinated with the stained glass lol. ;) I adore how these turned out!
I'm just gonna say it… I am insanely proud of this work. From the moment Rachael contacted me about doing a shoot I just knew we could make magic together. She wanted something "different" and I am so so sooooo grateful that she trusted my vision for this session!!! She should probably be working as a stylist somewhere because every single detail was just AHHH… so perfect. Like straight-off-the-cover-of-a-magazine perfect. Also, I can't believe how ridiculously beautiful every single person in this family is… sheesh. They live just a few blocks from downtown Kirkwood so we started at their fabulous home and then headed into town. It was so fun watching them interact and love on each other. And the two littles are twins so as a mom of twins, myself, that was really fun too.
I can't believe this is my job. I really can't. :)
