I ADORE photographing this darling boy!!! He has so much personality and his eyes are the dreamiest. His mom and dad are pretty great too. ;) His grandparents' home was the perfect backdrop for this backyard session. Don't you love his little footprints on the bridge!? The pool shots were a total afterthought, but when I saw how his eyes matched the water I went and grabbed my camera again. And of course, those were my favs.
Outdoor Newborn Session - St. Louis Newborn Photographer
Where do I even start… It's funny, I've kind of gotten away from the posed/studio newborn sessions because I enjoy lifestyle photography so much but then this goes and happens and now I want to do all my newborn sessions outdoors! And this sweet girl was a peach too, let me tell ya. It may have taken her almost an hour to fall asleep so we could finally begin, but once she was out… she was OUT. She didn't care that we tried on like 500 different headbands and kept moving her from thing to thing. ;) Also, my cousin Katey came and helped style the whole shoot. And she made most of those headbands! Isn't she awesome!? She found a bunch of her old doll furniture and we put it to great use. And we had the cutest ever, real life, baby doll to play with. ;)
I absolutely love how these turned out. I can't wait to see how much this little chica has grown and changed the next time I photograph her. :)
