Justin + Whitney // Scenic Kauai Elopement on the North Shore

Guys, we did it!!! We finally shot a wedding in Kauai!!!!! Yes, it was 4 months ago but the excitement hasn't worn off. We're still in awe of this day and the beauty and love we were surrounded by. Whitney and Justin chose to do things our absolute favorite way: completely relaxed and casual with almost zero planning or stressing out. We literally met up with them the day before, showed them some of our favorite spots around the North Shore and they picked one. Easy peasy. Having only a few family members by their sides and Justin's dad officiating meant there was even less to coordinate. After their short and simple ceremony we meandered through the jungle, hiked to a secret beach, and stopped at Hanalei Pier for some epic golden hour photos. This elopement was pure Hawaii magic and our love for these two beautiful people knows no bounds since they chose our favorite place on Earth to say "I do"!

Josh + Riki // Scenic New England Mountain Wedding in the Fall

Where do we even begin with these two incredible people who we've come to love so much!? Do you guys remember when we visited Arches National Park and Kyle and I just so happened to stumble upon a surprise proposal with camera in hand? After snapping some photos of Riki and Josh and chatting afterward we exchanged contact info and I wondered what all God had up His sleeve with the whole chance encounter. Well throughout the coming year Riki and I talked and texted and Kyle and I were so elated when she and Josh asked us to come and shoot their mountaintop wedding in New England. We haven't really explored that part of the country and we got to see it in all of it's glory at peak Fall colors!! The whole weekend with Josh and Riki and their incredible families and friends was perfect and special and we felt so honored to be there. I think one of our favorite moments was documenting Riki's testimony so she could share it at their reception. Talk about the faithfulness of God shown through His redeeming love! We also loved getting to take a chair lift up the mountain for the ceremony! Doesn't get a lot better than that. We're so grateful that this precious couple came into our lives and we can't wait to see the incredible things God is going to do in and through them!
