What a dreamy session. I don't know which is more beautiful, the light or the couple. Ok, definitely the couple. ;) Robyn and Dan are perfect together!! Don't you agree?! Again I find myself surrounded with amazingly cool clients that are all about exploring new places and throwing in some adventure (like climbing on things we're not supposed to be climbing on... oops) to liven things up. Love it! And LOVE them!!
This session has been in the works for a while. We tried and tried to make it happen last Spring but the weather just would not cooperate and the location we wanted to use was completely flooded by all of the rain we got in June. I have to say, though, I'm pretty dang thrilled with the way it all worked out. Sean and Andrea asked if I'd be willing to take a bit of a road trip... um never do I mind adventure and new scenery! They showed me around Pickle Springs, which I had never even heard of. IT. IS. GORGEOUS I tell you! Such a perfect backdrop for these two nature loving babes and their pack of dogs. We hiked. We climbed on boulders. We watched the sun go down. It was perfect and so are they.
It's hard to even put into words how incredible this trip was and how unreal these places are. It all still feels a bit surreal. This whole collaboration kind of snowballed from my daydreams and musings to travel plans and last minute shopping sprees. Somehow it all came together and exceeded every single expectation.
Kaleb and Ashley are two of our dearest friends so once we started talking about a trip to Iceland it was hard to think about anything else. At some point I casually mentioned doing some styled shoots while there and they were totally on board so naturally all of my creative energies launched into hyperactivity dreaming up scenarios. I'm telling you, if you're a photographer, find yourself some beautiful friends and go travel the world together!! I'm hooked.
