Sigh… I am in love with this session. This family was so fun to photograph. When I first asked this beautiful mama what she had in mind for a location and she suggested a field where her little girl could run barefoot, I knew I liked her. And I liked her even more when she agreed to lay down in the slightly damp, bug infested grass in her lovely white top! And let's just talk about her darling girl… personality galore, this one! We explored, we laughed, we picked perfect yellow wildflowers… I may have had a dead worm in my hair at one point. Lol! And not to leave out Dad, he was perfectly charming and agreeable… and his shorts are awesome. All in all it was a photographer's dream, even with gray skies and a tiny bit of rain. I cannot wait to meet their baby boy!!!

When Brittany and I first started planning her maternity shoot we both had high hopes for an outdoor session at golden hour. Unfortunately the midwest has turned arctic. We decided to try an indoor lifestyle session and, oh my goodness, am I ever glad! I LOVE what we captured! Little Addy may not have been thrilled with all of our bribery attempts but she sure has no shortage of personality. ;) I am beyond thrilled for these sweet friends of mine and their new addition. We cannot wait to meet you Elsie!
