Abandoned Church Wedding - St. Louis Wedding Photography

This is what happens when your bride is a wedding planner. Dreams. Come. True. Seriously though, Cassie and Ryan's wedding day was beyond incredible. Few things could get me as excited as shooting in an abandoned church that's open to the elements, therefore drenching us in natural light. The Salem Baum Church in Waterloo, IL is about as amazing as venues come in the Midwest. 

 Venues and details aside, we just absolutely love these two people. We are so happy for them and grateful we got to witness the beginning of this next chapter in their lives.

Spring Wedding in St. Louis - Artistic Wedding Photography

It's always so bittersweet when I finish up a wedding and deliver the photos to the bride and groom. I'm obviously elated to share these precious moments of their day with them but it also feels like saying goodbye to new friends that we've gotten to know over the last year. Thank goodness for social media, I guess. And Lacy and Gabe, I LOVE doing maternity photos... hint, hint. ;)

Kyle and I both felt so warmly welcomed into this wedding day. It wasn't just Lacy and Gabe who are so-so-very-cool-and-friendly, their whole wedding party made us feel like old friends and told us all day how much fun they were having. Yes, please! Isn't that the whole point? And those girls! DANG! They diy'd some of the prettiest floral masterpieces I've ever seen! Cheers to you ladies.

Redwoods Camp Wedding - Santa Cruz Wedding Photographer

I don't think I have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to truly tell you how I feel about this wedding and these two awesome people. Little did I know that when Bill and Mayka were planning their dream wedding they were also planning MY dream wedding! First of all can we talk about this dreamy venue situated perfectly in the mountains surrounded by redwoods? And Mayka's dress! A custom original with a story of it's own. These two seriously thought through every detail and created one magical day. I feel so incredibly grateful that Kyle and I got to play our small role and witness the beginning of Bill and Mayka's journey. 

And now for an extra special treat. Kyle has crossed over into filmmaking and is killin' it! So so sooooo proud of him!!!
